How much will it cost to take on an Apprentice or start a qualification?

You will see what the contribution will be from the employer to enable a learner to enrol on to an Apprenticeship as an Apprentice. funding rules apply:

If you have under 50 staff and you take on a learner between the age of 16-18 it will be free and you will also receive a £1000 grant. £500 will be paid after the apprentice completes 3 months of their apprenticeship and the final £500 will be paid up completion of their qualification.

If you employ over 50 staff and the apprentice is 19 years of age or older then the 5% contribution will apply.
